My family and I are looking forward to participating in The Coldest Night of the Year in White Rock on February 24, 2018. CNOY is a super-fun, family-friendly fundraiser that raises money for local charities serving hungry, homeless and hurting families and youth in 120 communities across Canada. Since 2011, CNOY communities have raised over $16,500,00 and local
organization SOURCES is aiming to fundraise $100,000 this year alone.
An estimated 235,000 Canadians experience homelessness every year, and hundreds of thousands more face the constant challenge of living right on the edge. The WALK provides each participant with the opportunity to:
– walk 2, 5, or 10 km
– fundraise for SOURCES (funds stay local)
– feel a hint of the challenge faced by those experiencing homelessness during winter.
After last year’s event, Tiffany Kwong, Communications Coordinator of SOURCES, said, “Thank you to all 42 teams and 300+ walkers, volunteers, sponsors, staff and donors for your fantastic support! Because of you, we can help more people in our community stay safe, warm and housed.”
