5 Exciting Events Happening In The Fraser Valley This Fall

Autumn is officially upon us. Though there are definitely things to be missed about Summer- We are super excited for Fall, the fashion and  of course, all the Fall events happening in the Fraser Valley!

Here’s our list of events happening this Fall that you just can’t miss!

1. BC Hop Festival

To kick start the BC Craft Beer Month, the Sumas Prairie Farm is hosting the annual BC Hop Festival on September 29th, 2018. The annual event brings together BC’s best breweries and hop products of all kinds. Hop lovers can indulge in over 40 different breweries from all over BC, 5 food vendors, live music or a conversation with one of their favourite brew masters. Click here  for more information.   

2. Fall Festival at Maan Farms

There’s no better way to experience Fall this year than at the Fall Festival at Maan Farms!  The festival runs every weekend from September 22nd to October 31st with plenty of fun things to do for the entire family. Enjoy their all-white pumpkin patch, wine tasting, apple cider slushies and donuts, a corn maze and more!

3. Fall Fair and Craft Market

Join Devan Greenhouses for their 6th annual Fall Fair and Craft Market on September 29th, 2018. Enjoy a large selection of handmade crafts and artwork, baked goods, collectibles and much more! The market runs from 9am to 6pm.

4. Applebarn at Taves Family Farms

For an authentic Autumn experience with your family, checkout the  Applebarn at Taves Family Farms. From their u-pick orchard, sunflower and pumpkin patch, to a petting barn and pony rides, there is something to do for everyone! Taves Farm is open 7 days a week from 9am until 5:30pm

5. Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival

Get immersed in the thrill of viewing one of the largest concentrations of bald eagles around. Spawning salmon making their way up the Fraser River attract these majestic birds in flocks, giving wildlife enthusiasts a chance to watch them feast. Enjoy nature walks, check out environmental displays, learn from expert speakers, and enjoy some local cuisine and dine alongside the eagles.
