1. Gluten Free Expo

This is hand’s down Canada’s largest gluten free expo. With hundreds of different gluten free foods to sample and even more savings you’re bound to leave with a full belly and stocked up with healthy food your entire family will love! The expo also offers an educational component as registered dietitians, nutritionists, doctors, and chefs will share their knowledge both on and off stage. The gluten free expo is this weekend- January 12th and 13th  from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Vancouver Convention Center, East @ 999 Canada Place.  Click here here for more info!

2. Art Deco And Chocolate Tour

Enjoy some of the best chocolate around while exploring Vancouver’s Art Deco movement. Even if you’ve lived here your whole life you’re bound to learn  something about Vancouver we bet you didn’t know! Learn how war, technology, immigration, fashion, social upheaval, and archaeology combined to create the Art Deco movement in Vancouver. Taste the samplings of a chef Gordon Ramsey called “one of the finest pastry chefs in the world”,  and enjoy guides who are passionate story tellers. 3.  Art of Lights

The Art of Lights is an outdoor lantern festival featuring a large selection of Chinese lantern displays. You can expect a scaled replica of Beijing’s famous “Temple of Heaven” as well as an “Under Sea World” and a “‘Living Dinosaur Kingdom.”  This impressive event is great fun for the entire family!  The  festival takes place daily between 4:00 and 10:00 pm between until February 10th 2019. 4. Dine Out Vancouver Festival

Dine Out Vancouver Festival is Canada’s largest restaurant festival where hundreds of restaurants put on special 3-course menus at great prices for the month of January! Some of the region’s best and most popular restaurants participate, and full set meals range in price from just $25 to $45! 5. Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival

If you’re a chocolate lover, this is one is for you! From January 19th to February 14th nearly 3 dozen cafes, bakeries, and chocolatiers throughout the region will be offering gourmet hot chocolate from their menus. We’re not talking about just an ordinary cup of hot chocolate.
