February is here and love and kindness are in all around us – along with a giant arctic outflow and polar vortex. So, our hearts are warm, but let’s be honest, it is so cold outside.

Valentine’s and Family Day are just about here and it’s always nice to try something new with the kids. There are so many events taking place around the Fraser Valley and not all of them mean that you need to bundle up to enjoy them.

Pink Shirt Day – All Communities

This year, Pink Shirt Day takes place on Thursday February 27th across Canada. Wear your pink shirt and talk with your kids, neighbours and friends about the impact and destruction of young lives that bullying can cause. Wearing a shirt once a year isn’t enough to break the cycle. We each can choose to stand up to bullies and be kind everyday.
